update on Wendy

She is on Gardner Ward, 2nd floor.

Wendy

For anyone who doesn't know, Wendy was taken to hospital last night. She has had it confirmed that she has gall stones and that her gall bladder is infected. I have seen her briefly tonight and her pain is now relieved with morphine. She will be in conquest for 3 -7 days, I guess until they stop the infection. Then she will be given her options at a later date.

I have told her that we are all thinking of her and that when she is out of hospital - she need only ask for assistance and one of us will be there. As I am not currently working I am happy to meet any of her needs. I am sure we all wish her well and soon home.

Hope you all enjoyed last night, and got home safe and sound and was up bright and early this morning for work.
I thought the food was really good. I'm sorry to say there was no change from your £10 there was a service change at end of bill,
Next week will be Jane and Chelsea’s last week before Christmas so let’s hope secret Santa will drop on early for them.
On the 22nd we will have our own party, so gets those silly hats out, I think we all know what food we are all bringing, and I hope Sylvia is well enough to make her sausage rolls.

So bring your cameras and we are sure to have a good time.

Thanks Jenny for last night I know I had a great time going through all you stock and buying lots for me and the club. And also for the food which was so nicely prepared by Pete, he must have worked hard.
The bag I took home for the club was quite heavy we might need another cupboard now.
So Thanks again Jenny and Peter for the crafing bits, good food and lovely company.

Ten Pin Bowling Night

Tuesday night is Bowling night.

Lane is booked for 7.30, and don't forget your cameras as I dare say it will be one of our good nights out. I might even have a prize for the best bowler. Oh yes scoring is my job.

Christmas Meal

Black Pearl Old Town Hasting is our venue for the christmas meal on 8th Dec. All booked so now all you have to do is turn up and enjoy your meal.
Rox, Rose and myself went there on saturday for a light lunch and was very impressed with the place so we hope ypu will like it.

Tuesday 21/10/09

Hi everyone,

Those of us that were able to go to Wendy's candle party last night had a great time, although I think we all spent more than we had intended!

There was plenty of nice food, most of which was 'slimming world' safe, Sylvia (Mum) made lovely SW Cheescake (which went down a treat according to all) and sw tea loaf and Jenny sent one of her yummy fruit cakes even though she was unwell. Thanks Jen we all loved it.

Cathy, Jenny and Annette are all suffering with viruses/colds so we wish them better soon (although it did mean we got to take home excess cake etc. yum!).

Anyway thanks to Wendy for her hospitality it was a good night.

By the way Sylvia loved her Kan Ban stuff we gave her for her birthday and we were able to get Wendy something she wanted from the candle party so she was delighted too.

We need to get our thinking caps on for what to do next month's 3rd Tuesday and to settle where we are going for our Xmas bash.

New baby

Do you remember Andera who came along to the saturdays crop well I have just read on her facebook page she is now a mummy, baby couldn't wait so came 11 weeks early they have called her Amy.

Crusing round the Med

First day and it's brilliant, just to let you know porthole is big enough to get out off.
Off to Tunis tomorrow looking forward to this.

Well I now have to take back everything I said about Cliff, I couldn't beleive that a man of sixty plus could pull in the crowd as he did. Cliff and the Shadows were brilliant. Wendy text me to say I would have a great time and I did.

Well what do you think of this, thanks to Jon he help me create our slide show. Sorry it all of Mama Mia but thats all I had, Anne, Rose, Rox Cathy and me looking frozen.
So now I will have to take more photos and get this slideshow going.

Sorry I have been out

Sorry I have been looking at uni's for the past two days. I have sat in maths and computor classes and everything they spoke about went over my head at least I didn't fall asleep.
Found a Hobycraft shop in Nottingham but it was shut so I didn't even get a look that.
I have just remember I must not go crafting on Tuesday this week.
I will now go and have a look at Tim Holtz page.
